Peace Anyway

Peace Anyway has been getting some play at recent shows and I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this song. Crowesbase details that Peace Anyway "[e]volved from Peace Anyway Jam. There are two studio versions of this song. The unreleased Band version and the BYS B-side." And, also that it's been played 24 times live. So, Peace Anyway was never officially released but no matter because any live version is much better than the studio versions.

Here's why I love Peace Anyway . . . it's just perfect. I know I say that all the time but wow, TBC is just the best. Peace Anyway is a beautiful song in its message, in its jam . . . and then there is the one part of it that seals the deal for me. Check out the version from Nashville at the Ryman below . . . specifically, at 4.00 - 4.14 -- Chris's voice at that moment is just !!! I mean, there is nothing better.
